The Return of the King: Dalglish

He's back ^_^ Appointed last week as caretaker boss for the departed Roy Hodgson, Kenny Dalglish returns the club he played, and then managed from 1978-1991. After stints at other clubs like Blackburn Rovers, where he won a Premier League title in 1995, and Newcastle United in the 90s, former Reds manager Rafa Benitez asked Dalglish to manage the Liverpool Academy and guide the youngsters into the senior team. Although I'm not a Liverpool supporter, I do like King Kenny because he could apply his football genius on the field, and as manager of England's most successful club.

FourFourTwo inspired Trivia: Dalglish, Souness, Evans, Houllier, Thompson, Benitez, Hodgson, Dalglish (2).

Of course, if you saw footage of the King in action from back in the day, then you can't forget 'That Pass' to Ian Rush, or 'The Goal' against Everton in '86. I hope he can restore some pride to the club; it's no fun teasing your Liverpool fan friends when their team is actually losing (Hi Geoff).

Best of luck Kenny!
